Which proxy protocols are supported?

All dynamic and static IP addresses in MaxProxy currently support both HTTP and Socks5 proxy protocols.

Introduction and differences between HTTP and Socks5 proxy protocols:

HTTP proxy protocol is a common proxy protocol mainly used for web browsing and network requests. By forwarding network requests through a proxy server, HTTP proxy protocol can perform content filtering and access restrictions. In addition, HTTP proxy protocol can also help hide the user’s real IP address and protect their privacy.

Socks5 proxy protocol is a more flexible proxy protocol that can proxy any type of network request, including HTTP, FTP, SMTP, and more. Socks5 proxy protocol forwards network requests through a proxy server, providing stronger security and privacy protection. In addition, Socks5 proxy protocol supports UDP protocol and can better support data transmission such as video and audio streams.

Overall, compared with HTTP, Socks5 proxy protocol has significant advantages in flexibility, security, and supported protocol types, while HTTP has better compatibility. Users can choose the appropriate proxy protocol according to their own needs.
