Port forwarding, also called port mapping, is to forward the proxy IP extracted from the MaxProxy software to the local machine or other devices on the LAN for use through the device port.
PS: MaxProxy client must be open when using port forwarding. After closing the MaxProxy client, the proxy IPs configured in the port forwarding list will not be saved and must.
All dynamic and static IPs in MaxProxy software can use port forwarding and only the Socks5 protocol for proxy IPs through ports.
Port Forwarding Tutorial
Port forwarding into local port forwarding and LAN port forwarding
Step 1: Obtain IP

Step 2: Assign the obtained IP to the corresponding port number
1. Click the [Forwarding Port] icon in the proxy IP list.
2. Select port 6000 and assign the proxy IP to this port; (if you want to configure more than one, repeat 1 and 2, and so on to configure the next proxy IP to the following port 6001)
3. Click the [OK] button.
You can go to the Proxy tab to see which proxy IP to the port
Step 3: Enter the extracted dynamic IP proxy into the corresponding software or tool
- Local port forwarding.
- Proxy protocol selection: Socks5
- IP address input: 127.0.0.1
- Port: enter the corresponding port number; this tutorial on 6000 as an example
- Account password: no need to enter
LAN port forwarding.
1、Use one computer as a server, and install MaxProxy software on the computer; another device must be in the same LAN as the computer, that is, in the same router’s wifi network (it to turn off the firewall of the computer)
2 、First of all, we need to get the IP address of the local machine in the LAN; the IP address of the LAN in this tutorial is: 192.168.186.145
Get the method: LAN port forwarding should enter the LAN IP of the computer where MaxProxy software is located, such as entering config in the command prompt in this machine can see the LAN IP address of this machine
3. Check Enable to allow other machines on the LAN to access the system settings (the default is to check Enable)
4. Forward the port to other devices in the LAN, such as
- Proxy protocol selection: Socks5
- IP address input: enter the IP address of the computer where MaxProxy software is the intranet IP address of this tutorial is: 192.168.186.145
- Port: enter the corresponding port number; this tutorial is based on 6000 as an example.
- Account password: no need to enter
More ports can be in the system settings.
Set the interval of multi-port forwarding; for example, if you need to forward 20 ports, set it to 6000 – 6019
